      Hymers College @Hymers_College:
King’s Foundation prepared a handful of our Y13 students to lead Games and PE sessions in local primary schools.
International Representatives
It’s fairly rare to have an international representative in a school, but at Hymers College we currently have 4 students who have represented their country in their sport. This is the highest honour that a student can gain when at school and the following students have agreed to present a shirt to the school to be framed and displayed in the Sports Centre.
Gauri Duhan represented England at table tennis: “This shirt is from my England debut when we were playing in France in the 6 Nations. We played against Germany, Sweden, France, Denmark and the Netherlands, and got a bronze medal.“
Elias Harrison represented England
at rugby league: “I am presenting my England International shirt to the school after being selected for the England U19s Rugby League squad that went to play in the European Championships in Serbia over the summer. I played in all 3 games against Serbia, Wales and France.
I’d like to thank the school and my club (Skirlaugh) for giving me and others the platform to thrive in the extra-curricular opportunities provided.
Sam Elstone was born in Scotland and therefore eligible to represent the country of his birth. He played at U15 level and was the top run scorer. He has since been selected for the U17 national team.
Archie Smeaton is a dual international, having represented Scotland last year against the home nations, he was then selected to tour South Africa with the England U18 team.
Congratulations - we are incredibly proud of you all!
     Hymers College @Hymers_College:
Well done to Will Ashton for winning the Yorkshire League foil in November with five gold medals in five fixtures.
Hymers College @Hymers_College: Congratulations to Lucy Jones who has been
