Painted Lady: We saw 44 of these. They were in fields pretty much everywhere.
Peacock: We saw 9 of these in total. We saw them mainly in grassy fields.
Red Admiral: We saw 26 Red Admirals. We saw these mainly as walking through fields and in wooded areas.
Brimstone: We saw only one of these, but it was definitely a brimstone because it was so yellow. We spotted it in some trees at the bottom of Mam Tor. At the bottom of that road that was closed.
Orange Tip: We saw 14 Orange tips. We saw then in woody areas and grassy fields.
Speckled Wood: We saw five of these in total, most of them we saw as we walked through Brocket Booth Plantation. We also saw two crickets in Brocket Booth Plantation. There is a lot of trees and plants which is why we saw so many speckled woods here.
Meadow Brown: We saw 71 meadow browns. They were the 3rd most common butterfly we saw. We spotted them everywhere, on grassy slopes, in fields, and in wooded areas.
