 110 I THE HYMERIAN
YEAR GROUP REPORTS
U12 RUGBY
As a group the U12s made a lot of progress in their basic skill development and achieved some good victories. Games and training sessions were dedicated to learning the fundamentals of the game, as well as
focusing on refining the core skills. Throughout the year, a large proportion of players took big strides in their personal development and it was fantastic to see so many players represent the School.
   U13 RUGBY
It has been another successful year
for the U13A team this year, with ten wins from twelve games. The season started well with a hard fought win over Bradford Grammar School, dominated by the forwards. Three convincing
wins followed, the newly formed
centre partnership of captain, Charlie Cook, and Jez Oboh creating the opportunities for the pace and elusive running skills of the back three: Owen Robinson, Ali Lovell and Zach North to finish. The teams were characterised by commitment, enthusiasm and passion. It was great to watch the teams develop during the season in terms of their character, sportsmanship, confidence and physical ability.
